Personal Branding through Global Networking

As a Fall Prevention instructor for the City of Sacramento's 50 Plus Wellness program, I love teaching live classes that educate and demonstrate effective fall prevention exercises to groups of seniors. As a certified personal fitness trainer who specializes in senior fitness, specifically fall prevention, I especially enjoy working with older populations because they love learning about their bodies in a new, refreshing way, not to mention their bodies respond the fastest once a program is started and consistently followed.
Unfortunately, most staff members in skilled nursing, assisted living, and now the RCFEs and Board and Care communities are overworked and underpaid. Mostly, they are not Certified in Personal Fitness training. As a result, the one hour of required activity usually means watching the same Senior Exercise Videos that have been out since the 1980s.
And guess what? My Take 5 to Exercise Fall Prevention DVD series is the refreshing change needed in all senior exercise video libraries! My series offers up-to-date scientific research that is presented in common, everyday language. Because I am passionate about preventing falls through the consistent application of physical movement, I motivate and encourage viewers to join along with me and my 2 seniors models (one is 91 and the other is 86!).
Mostly, I did not create my series for those who live in some type of senior housing communities but for seniors who are 'shut-ins' (don't leave their house). I hope to reach the millions of seniors who have fallen and are afraid of falling again. I want to help break the cycle of fear that results from a fall. Help me help them! Visit my website, www.take5toexercise.com, and order a copy for a loved one, a friend, a neighbor, someone who you truly care about. Remember, although falls are associated with aging, they are not a normal part of aging. The risk can be reduced.

"To society, the cost of a fall is staggering. To a senior, the cost of preventing a fall is priceless". Kelly J. Ward
