I Discovered Another Great Avenue to Market Professional Services!
The internet is saturated with various means designed to promote the services of professionals and business owners, so you have to imagine my surprise at locating another great resource to generate a larger client base.
Typically, I view some of these resources with the same disdain I place on those emails that inform me of the impending loss of a windfall inheritance by a long lost ancestor. However, when I am able to contact and screen other service providers in my career field about their experience with an organization, combined with the ability to network with other members in the provision of service, commensurate with the opportunities I find available as a member of Cambridge - I really have no choice but to pursue the opportunity.
If you are not aware of, or have not had the opportunity to take a look at an organization called "Women For Hire" at www.womenforhire.com then you may be missing a great avenue of promotion for your service or business. (I noticed that many professional men were also members!)
As a Career Develoment Professional, (Certified Professional Resume Writer and Employment Interview Professional) I joined as a Career Expert recently, and was very pleased with the prompt service provided by the representatives designated to incorporate the online profile. In addition, I was also pleased at the results when taking the opportunity to "google" the net to see if, and where my association could be located.
Just as in branding, marketing, or other avenues of advertising, the volume of presence in promoting the business name or service that one provides is critical. This basic observation continues to drive my efforts in seeking out new ways to tap into the market of today.
I have to say - that taking the moments of down time to research other marketing techniques and resources is well worth the time and effort!
