Navigating Your Way through Cambridge Who's Who Connect

Welcome to Cambridge Who's Who Connect, a site for you to build connections with other members through conversation. We are glad that you have you joined our community and encourage you to actively use this forum to communicate with other members. Here's a brief tour of the website and its functions.

Main

This is your welcome page -- the first page you will see every time you sign in to Cambridge Who's Who Connect. It summarizes everything happening on the Connect site. On the left will be a list of Connect members, groups and event listings that you can browse through as well as recent articles from the Cambridge Who's Who Resource Center. The middle section describes what Cambridge Who's Who Connect is all about, shows the newest blog postings, forum discussions and photos. The right column will show the latest activity on the site, new videos and news via RSS Feeds.

My Page

This part of the site is all about you! Here you can complete your personal profile, create a blog (just like this one), view your friends, add music and RSS feeds and view comments left on your wall by other members. You can even rename the title of your page and change the overall theme and colors. To further personalize your page make sure you upload a photo! In my next blog I'll explain how to customize My Page.

Events

We invite all members to share events with each other in this section especially those that pertain to personal and professional development and/or topics discussed in the teleseminar series. The events section allows you to include specific details about your event, a general description and a picture. Also included in this section will be dates and times for future Cambridge Who's Who teleseminars.

Forum

Start a discussion with other members about things you learned in the teleseminars. This is your main tool for communicating and exchanging ideas with other members. Have a networking question? Looking for answers or advice? Ask your fellow members by starting a forum! Forum categories include:
  • Networking Strategies
  • Branding
  • Industry Experts
  • Tell Me How You Can Help Me
  • Using Cambridge Who's Who Connect
In the forums both members and employees will have the opportunity to participate in discussions. We look forward to speaking with you!

Groups

Find people you have similar interests with by forming or joining a group. Within groups you can have additional discussions that will only be viewable by those in your group. Cambridge Who's Who will be creating a group for each teleseminar so that members who attended can share thoughts and ideas with other participants.

PhotosVideos

Create an album or post a helpful video in these sections. All postings in this section must be approved by Cambridge Who's Who before it will appear on Connect. After you upload your photo or video it will be sent to the moderator for approval. Share more about you and your business by adding photos or videos.

Invite

Currently invites are only available to other members of Cambridge Who's Who and all invitations to Cambridge Who's Who Connect will first be approved by the moderator.

Dr Candido E. DeLeon,
Your approach sound fascinating. I have a nephew who is suffering with depression. His self esteem is very low. He is staying with me right now and his parents are trying to get him to take anti-depressants. My experience with them is that they remove all evidence of emotion. What do you suggest?

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome WCC's Connect. I believe it is a wonderful idea to make friends all over the USA.I do non-drug psychiatry in a one-on-one approach for children, adolescents, indiv., couples, etc. Mostly, I see life issues such as anxiety, depression, phobias, manic-depressive behavior, obsessive-compulsive or any combination. BEFORE any of you or a loved one begins to take ANY prescribed psychotropic drug OR are taking these medications now... PLEASE !!! Check out the book Medication Madness by Dr. Peter R. Breggin, MD or any of his books on the effects of these toxic meds and what the FDA is NOT doing to protect the public they get paid to protect!! My opinion is that a large percent of Psychiatrists have joined the Pharmacological approach to achieve millions in income... blessed by the FDA.
Maybe, some day, someone will ask for a Teleseminar on The Fallacy of Mental Illness... I'm ready.
