Deborah, I would like to get a copy of your book.I think teens need to understand having emotions is not necessarily a bad event. Its how theye express emotions or not express them that causes a problem. What do you think?

Jessica, yes I have many concerns about families.I believe to be a parent in today's world takes much patience, much energy, and much support.Without family ties we would have few connections to others.Tell me all about your support group.

You can even contact me by phone to talk about how I do the meeting and what we talk about. Mostly there is alot of questions from the parents of the children. I am working on having my girls talk to the parents and to others about what it was like for them to have to go through it. How it now effects them in their day to day lives. I encourage you to call me so that maybe we together can get parents to come together and talk about what is going on with their family and how they are being effected by cps.

Madelyn, I help families with dealing with the state. They are given ways to help their families to be reunited. They are tought how to deal with the courts and how to talk with CPS and what is the best way to help their situation to get better. We talk about what they feel is th reason for CPS' involvment and what they feel they need to do to make it all end. I give it to them straight. There is no pointing of fingures or playing of the blame game allowed. I would be more then happy to sit and talk to you about the group and maybe you can even start one there where you are. You can feel free to call me or even to email me. 201-257-7014 or jessiegal30@yahoo.com

I let parents know what their rights are and how it is their job to speak up and advocate for their family. I even use my own experience as an example for them. I even let them know that they have to show their selves and their children that they really do want to be with them. I let them know that when their child(ren) are in states care that their child will never be that same child that they once had. They have to relearn how to trust you and you have to be able to deal with the pain that they feel, let alone your own pain. Both sides need to be in hardcore THERAPY in order to deal with the issues that brought them to this point. I am still dealing with my issues fro my childhood. You must realize that these families just need to know that someone really does care about them and that they really want them to succeed. I know that at tims I have questioned my parenting skills but then I remember that if I didn't care then they would be running the streets with Lord knows who and doing who knows what. Families need to know that they have a right to standup for what they know is right. Madelyn you can feel free to email me at jessiegal30@yahoo.com or even to call me 201-257-7014

The Yeti Who Saved Christmas is a funny story about how a stinky big-foot helped Santa after his sleigh crashed in the Himalayan Mountains during a nasty storm. Since Yetis usually get a bad rap for being such miserable creatures, I thought I'd present one as a big friendly guy who's just misunderstood.

Hi Madelyn,
Thanks for contacting me. I appreciate your kind comment. I'm working on quite a few things right now. I have completed another manuscript for a children's book. It's called The Yeti Who Saved Christmas. The editor who checks my work before it is submitted to publishers really liked it, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will get published. I'm also working on a longer Young Adult novel. That's been in progress for four years. At the rate I'm going it'll probably be another four years before it is ready.
I'm also quite busy on the music front. I was asked to introduce a string certificate progaram for string students in the state of Ohio. I was asked to speak at the Ohio Music Educators Association Convention about this program, so I am preparing for that.
I think that is enough about me. What kind of projects are you working on? I noticed you like travelling - warm climates. Do you SCUBA dive? I also see you like gardening. I do too.
What kind of music do you like?
