RE: MORE ON SELF-PUBLISHING

JOYCE, UPON FURTHER REFLECTION, THERE IS ANOTHER PROBLEM WITH SELF-MARKETING. THE AUTHOR MUST SELL HIM OR HERSELF AND HIS OR HER BOOK. SELLING ONESELF IS THE HARDEST THING TO SELL, IT'S ACCEPTED AND EASY TO HEEP PRAISE UPON YOUR PRODUCT. IF THE PROSPECTIVE BUYER TRUSTS YOU, HE WILL BUY. HOWEVER, WHEN YOU PRAISE YOURSELF OR YOUR BOOK, YOU ARE PERCEIVED AS BRAGGING AND NO ONE TRUSTS A BRAGGARD. NO TRUST, NO SALE.

THANK YOU, JOYCE, FOR AGREEING WITH ME. HOWEVER, THE PROBLEM WITH AUTHORS DOING THEIR OWN MARKERTING IS THAT MOST AUTHORS ARE ILL EQUIPPED TO DO SO BECAUSE ALTHOUGH TALENTED WRITERS, THEY DO NOT HAVE THE REQUISITE TALENT, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY TO CONDUCT A PROFITABLE MARKETING CAMPAIGN, NOR THE CONTACTS, PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMER LISTS AND KNOW HOW THAT PUBLISHERS HAVE. SO WE REALLY ARE AT THE MERCY… Continue

Abandoning a very lucrative career in law, Mr. Stockel sailed off to Connecticut with his life partner, Rita, and took… Continue
