How did you become involved in your current position? If you’re an entrepreneur, what inspired you to start your own company?
Over the course of his 38 years of being an ordained minister, Gary Hargrave has desired to see every believer matured “…to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.” (Ephesians 4:13) Shiloh University is an expression of that drive. Gary has established the degrees to be offered, the course of study for each degree program, and the text materials for each course. He has also directed and overseen the writing of curriculum.

Gary Hargrave was mentored and trained by John Robert Stevens while serving as senior pastor of The Living Word Fellowship churches in the California cities of Redlands, Anaheim, Southgate, and the San Fernando Valley. He, along with his wife Marilyn, are responsible for the spiritual and temporal oversight of the churches and other endeavors of The Living Word Fellowship, which includes Church of the Living Word in North Hills, California; Church of His Kingdom in San Diego, California; Living Word Chapel in Palmer Lake, Colorado; Grace Chapel of Honolulu in Honolulu, Hawaii; Hale O Kāula in Maui, Hawaii; Shiloh in Kalona, Iowa; Grace Chapel of Washington D.C. in Rockville, Maryland; Grants Pass Community Church in Grants Pass, Oregon; A Palavra Viva in Niterói-RJ, Brazil; New Song Fellowship in London, Ontario, Canada; La Iglesia de La Palabra Viviente in Monterrey, Mexico; Kingdom Business Connection; Marilyn Farms; as well as Shiloh University.
