What are you passionate about?
Protecting the underdog (all animals).
What makes you a valuable networking contact?
I have been an activist for 20 years. I can direct you to find the information or service you need. We provide literature on an array of animal issues including spay/neuter, eating a vegan diet/living a cruelty-free lifestyle, the link between animal abuse, child abuse and adult violent behavior, vivisection, and companion animal health and safety tips, to name several. Our program, Susie's Fund, is for people who need assistance with spay/neuter.
How did you become involved in your current position? If you’re an entrepreneur, what inspired you to start your own company?
Mabel Senderowtiz, my maternal grandmother, was a big influence in my childhood and adolescent years; she was always interested in my projects when I became an activist. When I started receiving unsolicted mail from national organizations in the 1980's, I was horrified enough to begin taking action. I started deleting animal products and by-products from my diet and finally became an activist in 1990. I have been vegetarian since 1992 and vegan since 1996.
Offering (Products, services, expertise, etc. you or your company can offer others)
Information on eating a Vegan diet, spay/neuter, rescue/adoption information, humane education
Seeking (Products, services, expertise, etc. you or your company are looking for)
Board members and volunteers
If you have had the opportunity to participate in the Cambridge Who’s Who Teleseminar Series, please share what you have learned.

Enid,
Your point about the MOD is well-taken, and I had already shifted my support, which was to honor my 17-month-old twin great-nephews, (who were born very tiny and early) to the Foundation of the Children's Hospital which is part of the organization that employs me part time. As for my support of AHA, it is in the form of education, as an instructor of life support courses, rather than monetary support, so I don't foresee changing my stance on that issue.

Thanks to your reminder, I will be removing MOD from my profile.
