Death into New Life:
When my mom, and best friend (Rachel) passed away in 2005, I was left dead with her.
In the depth of pain, I never felt or saw anything good in her passing. I took comfort she was happier in heaven, than suffering the slow death of cancer eating away at her, but in the all about me show - I was left here alone, empty, without her.

Rachel was my mother and best friend who passed away from cancer at Mass General Hospital, Boston, February 6, 2005. My dad (Fred) subsequently passed away the following year, having been with her for 50, on May 4, 2006.
The store became a solution to a problem for me. Left as an only child to sort through the many treasures my mother had collected in her fashion passion, time capsule treasure… Continue
