We will begin with the definition of "vitamin".

"Any of various relatively complex organic substances occurring natually in plant and animal tissue and essential in small amounts for the control of metabolic processes." Source: The American Heritage Dictionary:
As a society we have come to recognize the benefits of various substances such as vitamins. The problem is that they don't work unless in the presence of minerals. Hence, the logical first focus should be the minerals which are the essential elements for life. Taking it a step forward, the mnerals need to be in balance in order to achieve a balanced blood chemistry which produces a more harmonious life!
I feel the reason so many have turned to useing vitamins is because we have become to fast paced in life and we dont take the time to eat right, we get fast food, fast meals, and eat fast, we need to slow down, watch what we eat and how much, if you dont have time to eat as many veggies as your suppose to, make a smoothy and drink it, The ladies I take care of 84,86 and 87 have a smoothy of carrots and apples every day with lunch, I think there are some vitamins that are good for you because it is very hard to get all of them in your foods at times, but do think of making drinks, its fast and good for you.
