Some benefits obtained from regular exercising are increased energy, slowing the aging process and it strengthens and boosts our immune system. it also gives us a more appealing physical appearance.

That is very true Connie.Sitting still after deep yoga practice also help to build your immune system & person feels more vibrant.
Exercise move the inner flow,Your internal circulation changes the outer flow Or reflection of your face.Deep Breathing relaxes a human being.Meditation calms the mind.Body, mind & Soul, all are connected & peace & patience brings Serenity in our lives.
Thanks for your reply Veena,
Those excellent reasons to keep us motivated to take care of our bodies.
ok have question, i want to walk more, but it makes my knees hurt due to loss of bone and cartiledge, so then I walk different and my back kills me for a week or more, now the sciatic nerve is pinched and it has been a week and the pain is really bad, I am gaining weight due to lack of exercising, any ideas that would be safe,I am 4'11 157 and 55 years old
Time to supply the proper elements for Susie while simultaneously cleansing the dross which causes friction, which causes heat, which causes pain and discomfort..
I have taken up swimming which offers buoyancy and resistance. Exercising is more fun!. I have been reporting to Kelvin as my coach. Today I did four laps of backcrawl followed by a minute on the treadmill - incline 2 and speed 2.0. I have also begun water aerobics and can keep up with younger swimmers. But I must admit I sure am tired when I get home. But each outing I am upping the ante!
Note the pool has saline water, it is outdoors affording exposure to the sun and fresh air - truly combining many of the eight laws of health. I find myself drawing closer to the Lord - the more natural the environment.
you know I have thought about that, I dont swim but maybe just the water would help, the center here in town have water classes, I may check into that, thanks Claire
I have just returned from my first Zumba session. The plus is that it is fun and a great social outlet as well. I stopped after the first set which I was able perform reasonably well. I have learned to have patience with my own progress and not to press to the point of exhaustion in any endeavor. When I return I will increase my participation as I am doing on the treadmill and am up to a full minute and a half at the level two at 2 mph.. It doesn't sound like much, but ror me it is an accomplishment.
I am explorig line-dancing and will give it a whilrl putting my cowgirl hat to use.
I believe different body conditions require different forms of exercise. For me my jumping on my rebounder and certain foot flex exerices in water aerobics are proving helpful for my poor lymph circulation.
The trick in all of this is to realistically assess one's condition, to recognize the need for improvement, and then to ascertain what needs to be done! We need to learn to tune into our bodies and the natural.
Weekly Regime made possible by my recommnded natural lifestyle. How many of the Eight Laws of Health do you see in operation here?
Mondays - water aerobics, treadmill, and lap swim (outdoors in the sun and fresh air)
Tuesdays - massage, treadmill, and lap swim
Wednesdays - Line Dancing - FREE - offered by the county program "Coices", treadmill and lap swim
Thursdays - Fall prevention by Elder Care - FREE with a fresh fruit break, running errands
Fridays - Zumba - FREE, treadmill and lap swim
Weekends - Worship the Lord, catch-up on yard work, and use of my rebounder (on screened porch)
All of the rest of the time is devoted to enhancing the quality of nutrition which overtme saves money because a well-nourished body requires fewer and fewer calories, caring for the house, and maintenance of my many online commitments and guiding others.
The hope for all is recognition that if the least amongst us (surely includes my baby) can prosper by moving closer to natural law, what's available for all of us? Just take the first step!

Sister Claire Your Regimen Is Great And I Don't Have To Tell You About The Importances Of Drinking Water. But As Your Distant Coach I Feel I Have To Mention It Anyway. Proper Hydration Is Of The Most Importances, What And When We Drink Depends Upon Exercise Duration And Intensity. With That Keep Up The Good Work.
Absolutely, Kelvin,
I drink spring water all day long - out of a stainless steel container so that plastic chemicals don't leach into it.
And I have finally learned not to push myself beyond my current limitations.
what do you mean about plastic, I drink water from springs all day, thats all I drink most of time except for V8 juice, but its plastic bottles
