My client has a range of beautiful sheepskin area rugs hand made from New Zealand which would be perfect for home staging.

I also have a person here looking to work in the Los Angeles and/or Orange County area in home staging.

When my business partner sold her house she did some home staging at the direction of her realtor and surprised herself.  I'm the artist and she is the maketing partner but was impressed with her ability to make the house look inviting after all the furniture was removed.  One of the things we do for realtors is provide them with a means to give their new or returning clients a special, one of a kind gift.  A sample can be seen on our website in the water color and hand colored portraits section. Home staging is key to selling a home in todays market or any market for that matter. People often forget or just plain don't want to invest time to stage a short sale and it is almost unheard of in an REO. A properly staged home will sell faster and fetch a higher price.Take pictures and put them in your listing! several staged pictures in a short sale will be up against all those properties with one old dated picture, you'll be ahead from the start. As an ASP REALTOR I provide a staging punch list free of charge after my clients have signed a listing agreement. This way they can determine what hey can handle and what they need me to do for them based on time and budget. It's all about putting your best foot forward. Would you go to a high school reunion or business meeting without brushing your teeth, selecting appropriate wardrobe and having your hair done? I tell my sellers to be your houses eyes and look in the mirror.
