I am working with a great not for profit, the Society of Participatory Medicine whose mission is to spread the word about patient empowerment, engagement and education and help patients and providers understand how to use technology to that end.  We are embarking on a strategic planning process and welcome any input from those who have gone through that experience..

I provide expert advice to churces of all denominations on church loans and church bookkeeping. At the end of each year the church would receive for free a profit and loss statement, a balace sheet, a statement of cash flow and a statement of financial position prepared in GAAP format by a CPA. Most churches would not pass an IRS audit, good church records are very important.

Hi everyone! Glad to be a part of the group. I am involved in making the foster care system better by providing educational tools to help child welfare workers.

I believe that non-profits should re-evaluate their mission statement and ultimate vision. In addition, they need to partner with other organizations. For more information, call me on 301.699.8904

I made a contribution through our local Red Cross to be used for tornado victims in the South. When we had flooding here in the Upper Miss. many people from the South came up here to help. Now I know that many people from up here in MN / WI are going down to help out in any way they can. My thougts and prayers are certainly with all the victims.

After the devastating tornadoes in Alabama this month, my Quilter's and Crafter's group is making pillow cases for the children who are survivors.  Our local Walmart has given us $100 to buy the pillows but this is only a small dent in what we need to help these children.  Tuscaloosa, AL has been getting a lot of national attention as they were hit the hardest, but there are a lot of small towns in my area that have been literally wiped off the map.

If you would like to make a donation to our group it would be greatly appreciated!  It only takes $3.00 to buy a bed pillow and our group supplies the homemade pillowcases in wonderful bright children's colors.

Thank you in advance of any support you might give our cause!  You can contact me through this forum or email me at teri@raftakids.com for more information.
