For me a good leader would be someone that can keep control over what they are teaching, to have things in order, planned out and get the job done on time with people being satifsied. But a great leader would have all the above, but also leave people with every question answered, thoughts still going and excitement for learning more about what the topic was being taught, they will go out and get more information and want to keep going maybe even supporting the view with funds or speaking out for it. then you know you have reached them.
1. Great leader sets an example by his actions.
2. Great leader listen to his or her advisers before making final decision.
3. Great leader promote his or her employees.
4. Great leader has to be more open minded.
Good leaders have a clear vision of the goal, but great leaders know how to make that vision clear for everyone.
Good leaders know what actions to take to achieve the goal, but great leaders know how to utilize individual talents so that reaching the goal becomes a team effort.
Very astute observations!
Good leaders enable others to support a common vision.
Great leaders see beyond current circumstances and somehow enroll others into a unique vision beyond the current status quo.
Sherry, I could not have stated it any better..and Claire added the strawberry on top. (i dislike fake cherries)
Great Leaders listen to others more peacefully & after thinking clearly response the answers.
Great leaders live in a world of possibility. They are always thinking that it's possible to...
Enrolling others into that possibility is the challenge.
A great leader can enroll others into that possibility, because a great leader believes in themselves. The believe in yourself is apparent and others pick up on that and follow the leader into the possibilities.
I just read this quote, and I thought I'd share it here:  "A good leader inspires people to have confidence in the leader; a great leader inspires people to have confidence in themselves." -Anonymous
