I have not seen a Z Pizza up here, but will go out on the internet and look. I would be great to be able to go out and have a pizza once in a while. Thanks Vanessa for the tip!

That is wonderful,Larry.Keep up the good work.Laura,I didn't realize that Outback had GF menus. That's good to know.Olive Garden does also;they have for a couple of years now.Funny how right after I discovered I had gluten issues, gluten free foods started coming out of the woodwork.Betty Crocker has several gluten free mixes out now.I have baked with them, and I honestly canttell the difference.Their brownie mix is just as moist and wonderful as my Grandma's were.Duncan Hines and Pillsbury probably aren't far behind.Thank you for your input, and have a wonderful day:)

Some other chain restaurants have GF menus, such as PF Changs and Outback. Sometimes when I mention that I need to eat GF to a server they will bring me a GF menu. Then again I have also gotten the responses as to what I can eat of well that has potatoes or rice in it so you can't eat it. Oh well....all we can to is try. Wish we had some Pizza places out here in CA that had GF. I live in the foothills outside of Sacramento and have not seen anything. We are East Coasters and miss a good pizza!

I am working with the KW Celiac local chapter. I was diagnosed 5 years ago. Since then my Son and Daughter have been diagnosed. Just over the past 5 years there has been a big increase in support and products. Travel is much easier. I've travelled to Taiwan and several areas in US with no problems. Paul, great having CCA working for us all, great organization. Locally, Pizza Pizza has introduced a GF pizza also Boston Pizza now offers GF pizza in some test locations.

Gluten free eating is not that easy, for sure. I'd love to see folks share which restaurants feature GF menus. For example, the Spaghetti Factory in Sacramento has GF pasta -- a wonderful discovery since it's near my mother's home and convenient for family get-togethers. I've been looking for pizza houses but haven't found anything that tastes good.

Paul, good luck with the certification program. Would love to see the same in the U.S,

I am working with the Canadian Celiac Association (CCA) to develop a government recongnized standard for Gluten Free manufacturers to become certifed against. Once certified these manufacturers will have the option to display the CCA "mark" on their grocery product labels. More information will be avialable soon at www.celiac.ca

Hi Beckie,

My son has been diagnosed with Celiac Disease and while I have not been officially diagnosed I am definitely allergic to Gluten. It has been 3 years since we have known, we eat GF in our house and try to every where else as well. It has become more recognized with more and better products, even restaurants with GF menus. My son is now attending culinary school, mainly because he wanted to eat things he couldn't and became interested in cooking/baking. Any way, glad to be part of the group!
