I love that you have done this Nancy. I am going to note this, refer to it and share it with my clients. What an outstanding tool to be proactive in your health. Thank you for sharing.

I have suffered from autoimmune disease for the past 25 years and as a writer my expereiences in health care led me to write my current book e-Patients live Longer, The Complete Guide to Managing Health Care Using Technology.  The book focuses on teaching individuals how to become an engaged, empowered, educated patients and I cover everything from how to communicate with your healthcare providers to how to find the right resources on the web.  I also provide information on best health apps for your smartphone, best websites for health information, specific on how to create a personal health record, and tips of patient safety  and medication adherence.  the book is available at Amazon.com and other online sites  as an e-book or in soft or hard cover at a nominal price.  for more helpful hints and information check out my blog:  www.healthcarebasics.blogspot.com.

Good morning Beckie & all. Thankfully I do not suffer from an autoimmunedisease, but know many who do. What I do offer though is assistance on the nutritional side of living with such. While working with a client a couple years ago, we applied amino acids to herdiet &from she continues to be pain free. I am a representative of AdvoCare, so my job is to help find the products that are right for others, I leave the science to professionals at Yale, Creighton, UC Davis. And together we love helping others get back their optimal health.

Gluten makes me feel worse also. I try to noteat it but it does not always happen.

I think most of the day I do not have gluten.

Good for you!I struggle daily with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. My issue is gluten. If anything makes me flare up it's that,so I have to watch natural things like that.I have to watch my grains, things with food additives, even corn starch.Corn starch can be "modified" which means it could be mixed in with gluten containing ingredients.
