Personal Branding through Global Networking

I have a personal brand but now I need to tell others about it. How do I promote myself? How can I use my personal brand to advertise my products and services and increase my visibility?

Once you have discovered your personal brand you must reveal it to as many people as possible. A great way to promote your brand is by sharing your knowledge and expertise. This will define you as an expert in your field and encourage others to contact you when they need help or advice in matters pertaining to your area(s) of expertise. Consider writing articles, publishing books, doing public speaking and leading seminars. Also use technology to your advantage and make sure that you have a strong online presence that reflects your personal brand. You can increase your online visibility by joining social and professional networking communities, developing a personal website, starting a blog and commenting and contributing to blogs that others in your industry have created. Most importantly, build a database of contacts who you can share news and announcements with. Keep them abreast of new achievements and endeavors, articles, press releases and publications that you have been featured in, seminars you are conducting and conferences you are attending or speaking at. This will help to generate valuable word-of-mouth publicity for you.
I think there are endless opportunities to promote your service, and area of expertise. Identify the market you are trying to reach and utilize the world wide web; place ads in local newspapers and magazines; join and volunteer to support local community organizations such as the Chamber of Commerce and other services you may be interested in. Visit local businesses and research other entreprenuers in your field of expertise. Attend community functions and post your brochures and business cards in areas of high visibility. Everytime you leave a tip somewhere, leave your card behind. Be outgoing, speak of your business and take a moment to leave a kind thought or a compliment to someone along the way!

Thanks to your direction I have finally been able to identify my brand which is all encompassing; and as such, has been difficult to define. It may now be viewed as the new title to My Page: Improve Life Each and Every Year!
Thank you for assisting me over a literal 'identity crisis' due to my rapid progress since joining Cambridge Who's Who Connect. I am now able to speak with authority what I actually represent!

Networking and patience are the keys!

It would be an honor to have a talk with you where I share my experience strength, skills, and hope with you about promotional ideas.

Now look at entries - especially the last one: "News" which includes the logo for the Self Rejuvenaiton Center!

Apparently a brand can expand to Improve Every Year:

One way to promote your personal brand is to come up with ways that you can partner with a brand new company that is needing a product such as yours. Get in on the beginning media splash that comes as a result of being a new company. An example is if a company is new and they are selling tennis shoes - maybe you could add your brand to the area around the shoe that is something people would actually find interesting and would remember.

Press Releases now are in print and in the virtual world. Imprints in eternity. Write one as often as you can and send it out. Put messages of course on the social networks and develop relationships with people you are pretty certain would need your product.

We are in the midst of looking for people with products such as: t-shirts, tennis shoes, blankets, etc. for a partner branding splash. The world is fresh and there is new energy out there.

Good luck

Great advice, VicToria! The Self Rejuvenation Center recently partnered with the OnlineRehabClinic.

As such we have doubled our potential.

It's official: New brand for the Self Rejuvenation Center: Improve Every Year!
